One of my girlfriends has been dating this guy for a few months. It’s not serious but there was definitely potential for something more in the future. The guy went away for a week on vacation. When he returned, he took her out to dinner and had presented her with a gift; it was a small jewelry box. She was so excited to open it because that led her to believe that they are moving forward with their relationship. She was so nervous to open this little box and when she did it was a shock of her life. One earring! Yup just one, is he serious? She has TWO ears.
