I was browsing online the other day and this guy sent me an instant message. I decided to accept without really taking a good look at his profile and we had a pretty good conversation over IM. He seemed really nice; he was intelligent (an attorney so he had to be right?), good-looking (according to his pics) and he made me laugh. We chatted for a while and then realized that we both lived in the same building. What are the odds of that happening? A good-looking, successful guy and lives right above my apartment???? Well two things can come of this. It’s either a little to close or it can be really convenient. We decided to have a glass of wine that evening at my place. About an hour later there was a knock on my door. When I opened the door I received a surprise. Make note to self, CHECK the height before you make a date. This guy was beyond short. Oh boy, what was I thinking and he was definitely NOT good-looking. Oh well, what can I do now, kick him out? No because that will be awkward when I run into him in the building again. I let him in, and poured him a glass of wine and incited him to sit down on the couch to chat. The conversation wasn’t really smooth but not that bad either until he decides to take off his shoes and put his feet on my coffee table!!!! A little to comfortable if you ask me, don’t you think? Eewww I don’t know where his feet been and I eat on my coffee table. Needless to say he left shortly after that. Where are your manners gentlemen?????
