I went on a 2^nd date this past weekend. It was a fairly nice restaurant called “Macaroni Grill”. I have never been there before. Didn’t look too expensive and I didn’t make the decision to come here. I met him online a few weeks back. The first date was really nice, we met at a bar for a drink and it turned into a dinner. He called the next day and invited me out again.

During dinner he made a few comments about work and money. I thought it was strange conversation to be having with someone you’re getting to know. I enjoyed myself to say the least and would like to see him again. However when he received the check after the dinner, he looked at it and said, “Wow you’re expensive”. Is he serious? This restaurant is a chain. Besides, it wasn’t my decision. I didn’t go out with him again, I was afraid he may claim bankruptcy if I suggest Cheesecake Factory.  Perhaps next time he should just stay home..
