I was searching for some good looking guys on Match the other day. Yes I do realize that looks isn’t everything but when you’re searching online, I can’t help but notice a picture first. I’m sure you go through the same thing if you’re looking online like I am. It’s not like the profiles blink in yellow and say, “Nice Guy, click here”. If it did, I would probably check him out. Anyway, first I click on the attractive picture then I read his profile. Make sense right? 

So, this guy, let’s call him Bob, wrote everything about himself that I am looking for in a man. Tall, dark hair, dark eyes, a little older then me, geographically desirable, educated and he even enjoys the same hobbies as I do. It was too good to be true to see someone online that I would consider a perfect TEN on paper.  The only thing that is left is for me to email him and connect and get to know each other. Let’s see if there’s chemistry. I decided to get out of my comfort zone and pursue him. I haven’t tried this approach before. I’m a pretty girl and we have a ton in common, there is no reason for us not to get together. Well… it has been a week already since I emailed him, I can see that he checked my email (extra feature that match has now, costs extra of course, but it’s worth it). He cannot say, “Oh I never received it”. YES you did, I know you did, AND you know that I know you did. LOL

What’s the problem? Is he doing the 3 day wait rule that girls typically do so we don’t look so desperate? Or was it something I said. I emailed him a nice email, that didn’t say a lot because I don’t like it when guys email me pages and pages about themselves. It said,

Hi Bob, I liked your pictures and after reading your profile, it looks like we have a lot in common. Perhaps we can hit some balls sometime. (We both play tennis)

So, is this guy serious with not writing me back?  Should I try again? Maybe he forgot????
