Last weekend, I drove 45 minutes to meet a girl my friend set me up with. I had never met her before, but after seeing her pictures, I thought it was worth the drive. To say the least, when I picked her up, I would have driven 2 hours if I had to. On the way to dinner, we had good conversation and she laughed at my jokes a few times, which is always a good sign. During dinner we continued having a smooth conversation and I felt a connection with her. As I looked down at my pasta to take another bite, I felt something pull at my hair. I dropped my fork to touch my head from the pain and looked up at my date to see what that was. As she showed me my hair that was in her hand, she smiled and said “I found a gray one so I grabbed it for ya’.” 

Weeding out the sum of my few grey hairs on a first date? During dinner? Is she serious? I didn’t go out with her again; I was afraid of what else she might pull to cause me pain.
